Gorse Hill, with its beautiful Edwardian charm, felt like the perfect place to celebrate. Thank you again to Prestige Awards for this recognition. It was nice to celebrate and share this special day with my family.

This award marks the first milestone for SunFilled Pathways Counselling Service, which opened its doors in July last year. What an incredible learning journey it has been. It felt amazing to bring this award home today to Havant, it means so much to me, both personally and academically.

And to all my clients: Thank you for your trust. It is an honour to walk beside you. Your courage inspires me every single day. Each story and each moment of reflection remind me why this work matters so deeply. I am grateful for every session we share and for the privilege of being part of your healing journey.

I would also like to express my heartfelt thank you to Innervision Media, the Diamond Distinction Award and the Eminence Award for recognising my work.

Professional development continues to be a big part of my path, and I am excited to see what the next year brings. I am really excited to share some big (and slightly scary) news: this September I will be starting my MA in Integrative Psychotherapy with Middlesex University/Peter Symonds College Adult & Higher Education. I never imagined doing a master’s degree, especially not in my 50s, but here I am, stepping out of my comfort zone once again to see where this next chapter leads.

This next step also reflects my commitment to ongoing professional development, ensuring I support my clients with the best skills and understanding I can offer.

I look forward to including couples therapy into my work, which begins this month. I will also keep nurturing my passion for therapeutic writing, ensuring it remains accessible to anyone who needs support.
